Most of us can identify iconic fragments and glimpses of the rivers — we know we’re seeing the Schuylkill when we go down Kelly Drive — but where does the Schuylkill go after it passes the boathouses? Where is the river’s mouth? As a kid, I thought the Schuylkill just disappeared under the city. | WHYY

From the Source: Stories of the Delaware is a year-long collaborative reporting project covering the Delaware River and the watershed feeding it from multiple angles — water quality, environmental challenges, climate change, recreation, history, and how it all converges to define our region and inform life here.

Through words, images, audio, videos, and interactive graphics, we will take readers from the Catskills to the Water Gap; through muddy, secret fishing holes and urban centers, to where the river melds with the bay.
