The Delaware River watershed provides drinking water to more than 13 million people, including 3 million in New Jersey. Despite water quality improvement, pollution from “runoff” upstream, and rising sea levels downstream, threaten the river’s future. Policy advisors say citizens must engage in protecting this key life and health resource for Trenton, Camden, Philadelphia, Wilmington, and millions of residents of 4 states.
